Turkie
Industrial engineer working as Quality Systems Internal Auditor for over 10 years (ISO 9001,14001,45001,10002) at Turkish Airlines in category of domestic, international stations and management team. Also work for Turkish Quality Association- (KALDER) as assessor for sustainability awards and internal assessor for IENVA (IATA Environmental Management System).
As Turkish Airlines, we have established a method called Qualiteam to go beyond compliance with the rules, to strengthen quality by creating our own standards, and to measure quality by dimensioning the performance monitoring method with a focus on continual improvement. Qualiteam, the brand of Turkish Airlines quality, explains that quality is a team effort, and that not one but multiple focuses come together to create quality. It aims to update Turkish Airlines’ current title of “Airline Which Flies to the Most Countries in the World” to “Airline Which Flies to the Most Countries in the World with the Same Standards”.
We believe that this model, which we have created specifically for Turkish Airlines, can be applied in other sectors in terms of Quality Management and Performance measurement, so we would like to share it with participants from many sectors so that it can become widespread and provide ideas.
