Tor heads the Risk Management and Threat Intelligence teams at Telenor Global Business Security, where he oversees enterprise risk, including geopolitical implications, complex partnerships, and insider threats using emerging AI-based technologies. He also spearheads the Responsible AI project under Telenor’s AI-first program and contributes to ISO committees. Prior to joining Telenor, Tor served in the finance industry and at the Central Bank of Norway, where he headed security for the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund—the Government Pension Fund of Norway. He later led the development of a pioneering security fusion center at KPMG, delivering fully data-driven risk quantification as a service. Tor’s background includes time as a rocket technician at Andøya Space Center (ASC), along with studies in math and science at the University of Oslo.
