Since 2021 Mr. Coutand intervenes as international consultant, coach and speaker on various subjects linked to Quality Management (e.g. maturity assessments, EN9100/ISO9001, process approach, Risks & Opps, audits, Root Cause Analysis, …).
Since 2015 he also works for IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) as member of the 9100 writing team, co-creator of AIMM (the Aerospace Improvement Maturity Model), and IAQG liaison in the ISO/TC176/WG29 committee.
From 2000 to 2021 Mr. Coutand has worked in AIRBUS Commercial Aircrafts as responsible for the EN9100 certification, co-manager of the QMS and of various processes, owner of the internal audits process, quality manager of the IT function, and Black Belt coach.
From 1997 to 2000 he worked in DNV, the renown Norwegian Certification Body, as international ISO 9001 Certification Auditor.
