Key message:  
When introducing AI into autonomy in more and more operations, we move away from fully testable designs. When we, in the future, also add quantum technology into AI and other systems like sensors and communication, then how do we make sure these systems respond as expected in all foreseeable and unforeseeable situations? and have the overall quality as expected?

This remains an open question, but I will explain what quantum technology is, and what we see it can be used for in the near and far future. I will first give an introduction to quantum technology and the main directions we see moving forward, then lay out what the opportunities and the risks involved will be. I do not hold all the answers; however, I can make people start thinking about it so that we are prepared when the technology breaks through.
