Ryoko Shimono is an associate professor in Waseda University since 2022, with a Ph.D. (Engineering) from the University of Tokyo in 2011 and has researched as a project assistant professor and project lecturer in the University of Tokyo from 2011 to 2022. Her field of research is quality management and social system engineering. She is interested in the modeling operation process regarding TQM in healthcare and other fields. She received the Best Paper Award at Japan Society for Quality Control in 2020.
