Jérôme Lacaille is a former student of the École Normale Supérieure (1985) and holds a teaching qualification in mathematics. He served as a lecturer at the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan before co-founding MIRIAD Technology with his research advisor. His professional journey began in the semiconductor industry, and in 2007 he was recruited as an expert by SNECMA (now Safran Aircraft Engines). At Safran, he established the DataLab and currently serves as the head of the company’s mathematical network.
